Performance
Formed in Atlanta in 1996, the Kazanetti String Quartet was appointed Artists-in-Residence in 2008 at in Eatonton, Georgia. Enjoying its first season at its new home, The Kazanetti String Quartet has served up a veritable smorgasbord of music featuring works by Mozart, Shostakovich, Turtle Island String Quartet and Prokofiev, and most recently, a performance with , USA 2008 Guitar Player Magazine’s Best World Music Guitar Player. Upcoming events include a joint presentation with entitled Edible Opera: It’s To Dine For!—an evening of music and fine dining.
The 2009-2010 season promises much excitement with performances by guest artists, , and a special multi-media event entitled To Kill a Mockingbird: Scout Remembers featuring the Academy-award winning film and its original music.
Education
The Kazanetti String Quartet is committed to bringing music into the lives of its community, especially its children. Our educational programs cover a range of styles and topics and are created for audiences of all ages. Programs may be held at The Plaza Arts Center or other venues in Eatonton, Georgia; at schools and other venues in the Atlanta area; or wherever your requests are best served. Upon consultation, a program may be tailored to your curriculum or project to best fit your needs.

The Kazanetti String Quartet has performed at popular venues throughout Atlanta, Georgia and the surrounding area and is available to perform at corporate functions and private events including weddings and receptions. Our music is personalized to each event and represents styles from the classics to standards, and more.
